Eve the evil cat has come home

Three nights away is enough apparently

I’m so happy to announce that Eve came home this morning!

A bit of food before a snooze after a few nights out in the paddocks (photo taken by author)

I stood at the corner of the house and called her, again, and this time she came galloping across the paddock from the stable, much to my delight!

Hubby had been in the stable yesterday evening and Eve hadn’t come out to see what he was doing, so it’s probably safe to assume she wasn’t there then as she’s such a curious kitty, she wants to know what’s going on all the time, that she would have come out to see him and check on his movements.

Maybe she has a boyfriend out in the paddock somewhere, maybe she went a bit too far on her latest adventure and it took a couple of days to get home. There might have been a cat gathering that she wanted to attend. We’ll never know where she was but we’re glad she’s home!

After a stop at the food bowls she went straight to her blanky and bed,

and we don’t expect to see her out of there for the rest of the day!!

Thank you for reading about the safe return of our explorer cat! I’m thankful for the happy ending.
