We were given a goat!

Sox was the cutest kid on the block!

Sox was born in October 2020 and came to live with us a few weeks later.

He was rescued by a stock truck driver and given to friends of mine to look after. After a brief discussion about his future it was decided that the little guy would come to live with us once he was weaned.

Sox was bottle fed and mollycoddled for about six weeks and then he came to our little patch of paradise where he has become quite a valuable weed killer!

He developed a taste for dandelions quite early on, thanks to my great niece hand feeding them to him whenever she came to visit.

He also likes Californian thistles and blackberry, which is good because we have an abundance of both in and around our paddocks.

He also enjoyed my silverbeet a bit too much as a kid, in fact he still really likes a nice leaf or two even now.
